This unique Alaska rafting trip starts near its source, the Matanuska Glacier!

Great family float for younger kids and seniors, includes a unique photo stop at the spectacular Matanuska Glacier before launching just down stream. Predominantly Class II and some Class III rapids makes this trip suitable for ages 5 and up. The Glacier fork of the Matanuska River eventually meets up with the Lion Head fork so that both trips end at the same Hicks Creek location. If your looking for a trip with awesome views and an easy float with just a dash of light whitewater then this one is it!

It’s hard to believe that your people can put in 18 hour days and still be very pleasant and gracious to your guests. Their ability to interact with various personalities of guests on the trip made everyone relaxed. Food was super! We had an excellent experience with your company from trip registration through trip completion.
